House Church is our primary vehicle for discipleship and community at Church Project.
House Church is the primary context where people will be known by others.
House Church is what keeps our church community intimate and organic.
The church we read about in Scripture lived in incredible, powerful, intimate community.
We think they did a great job, and we want to follow their model of meeting together.
They addressed their gatherings to "the church who met in ____'s house", so we call ours HOUSE CHURCH. They met together young and old, so we meet together CROSS-GENERATIONALLY. They met together GEOGRAPHICALLY, so we encourage people to find the House Church located closest to their home. They met each others needs, so we MEET OTHERS NEEDS within House Church, not another benevolent model. They studied the Scriptures, so we have SCRIPTURE-BASED STUDY.
We encourage you to find the House Church that is closest to you geographically, and connect with the pastor via email. They will give you directions to their house, and answer any other questions you may have concerning House Church or feel free to just show up at the times shown. You're already invited, so no need to RSVP.
House Churches gather weekly. A typical House Church gathering will include a casual time of snacks/food and getting to know others, a scripture study and discussion, and prayer for one another.
